Dies natalis program studi pendidikan bahasa Indonesia diadakan pada Jumat, 20 September 2019 untuk mewujudkan rasa kebanggaan terhadap Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia yang telah lama berdiri dan masih bertahan sampai saat ini di kampus Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Madiun. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan oleh HMPS dan diikutiseluruh mahasiswa, dosen-dosenbeserta karyawan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, sehingga dapat menghadirkan suatu kegembiraan dan rasa kebersamaan antarmahasiswa maupun dosen-dosen.
Kegiatan-kegiatan dalam memeriahkan dies natalis tersebut ialah pemotongan tumpeng, makan bersama, pertukaran kado, menuliskan suatu permohonan di sebuah kertas kecil sebagai suatu tanda doa dan berbagai penampilan hiburan dari setiap mahasiswa per angkatan seperti menampilkan tarian, puisi, musikalisasi puisi, dan bernyanyi. Selain itu salah satu dari dosen yang bernama Bapak Mudjiyono memberikan pesan dan kesannya untuk seluruh audiens yang hadir dalam acara dies natalis tersebut, beliau adalah dosen yang palingtua di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. Diakhir acara setiap angkatan melakukan foto bersama dosen, dari semester 1-9 untuk dijadikan sebuah kenangan.
Dies Natalis tahun ini membawa kesan yang sangat menarik dan menyenangkan. Harapan untuk ke depannya agar bisa lebih dipersiapkan lagi supaya acaranya Dies Natalis lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. (Yustina Bucang dan Adelia Purnama Sari)
