Nasiolisme adalah suatu paham yang menciptakan dan mempertahankan kedaulatan suatu Negara dengan mewujudkan satu konsep identitas bersama untuk sekelompok manusia yang mempunyai cita-cita dan tujuan yang sama dalam mewujudkan kepentingan nasional. Pemuda pada tahun 1908 memiliki semangat untuk bersatu mengusir penjajah. Secara historis perjuangan kemerdekaan dengan kekuatan fisik tidak pernah berhasil, maka kaum muda saat itu berpikir cerdas menggalang persatuan dan kesatuan dengan diplomasi dan organisasi untuk satu tujuan mengusir penjajah. Saat ini mahasiswa tentunya memiliki tugas yang berbeda, mereka harus belajar sejarah dengan tekun untuk mempertahankan kemerdekaan dengan bersikap penuh empati dan kemandirian, tidak egois, pragmatis, cuek dan instan dalam memerangi musuh bersama, yaitu sektarianisme, primordialisme, kemiskinan, narkoba, pornografi, kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak, korupsi, intoleransi dan tetorisme.
Selamat memperingati hari Kebangkitan Nasional. Dengan semakin jujur dan peduli sebagai cara mencegah perilaku yang mengarah pada perpecahan, adu domba, menfitnah, membuat keonaran, kejahatan dan melanggar hukum.
Generasi muda termasuk mahasiswa dituntut untuk (1) mempelajari sejarah perjuangan bangsa..(2) menghormati upacara bendera..(3) menghormati simbol-simbol negara.. (4) mencintai produk dalam negeri.. (5) ikut bela negara.. (6) berperan serta aktif berpolitik..(7) membantu mengharumkan nama bangsa.. (8) membantu terciptanya ketertiban umum, dan (9) menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dengan baik dan benar.
